How to do I Rotate my layer object?

Hi,

I'm using the "Plexus Layer Object" from the Geometry toolkit and after I set the object type and layer type to 3D nulls It made a interesting shape.  The problem is I can't figure out how to rotate it.  I've tried the transform option in the Effector toolkit but it rotates it in such a strange manner that it's not doable.  How do I rotate a Plexus Layer Object?
